So, the power of Wesak really every year is that you have the potential to hand everything over that hasn't been completed.

And when we're talking about not being completed, we're talking about your intention for the last year. That if you made a plan in your mind, that if you had some sort of ideas of where you would be, what you'd be doing, whether it's spiritually or physically, and some of that hasn't happened. Maybe it got waylaid because there was another plan, but it wasn't your plan, as an example.

The first aspect of Wesak is about letting all that go, so that you can go into the next 12 months completely from a fresh start. Because the Wesak Moon is the fresh start spiritually.

Why is it a fresh start? Because at the time of Wesak Moon, the highest frequency of light that the Earth ever receives for the whole year from the universe pours and, and activates around the whole planet.

And this is like a wave that goes through all of life, through the Wesak Moon and Buddha.

The Buddhic realms begin to activate the Christ realms, the Christ realms activate the Angelic realms, the Angelic realms activate the Earth realms.

And the highest wave of light pours into the universe through these realms. And at the time of the full moon, that light is dispensed in a vial to every initiate that travels to Wesak Valley.

This is the point where the light first enters the Earth, the Wesak Valley, for the wave, from the heavens, and into the Himalayas and all that region of the earth. It then expands outwards from there and wraps around the whole Earth.

So, why can it be a fresh start spiritually? Spiritually because the highest frequency of light is emanating through the whole of the earth, which means it's moving through you.

Before the Wesak Moon is the time to actually do the work, to actually do the letting go.

Letting go is a very simple thing. You just need to acknowledge something, become self-aware of it, and, honor it.

To be able to accept it, to then let it go, and then it can release. If you don't actually acknowledge something, it's very difficult to accept it. You'd have no self-awareness of it.

If you can't bring your heart to it to accept it, you can't let go of it.

So this is the simple process of just becoming a little bit more self-aware, looking over your last year and going, "Okay, you know, where was I last Wesak?",

"What was I intending last Wesak?", "What was I intending through the year that maybe didn't happen? Maybe something that I put my energy into and it didn't happen in the right way to..."

Maybe you had a disappointment there or something.

And just to run through the whole year to see where your energy was really at with something. If you put a lot of energy into something, you know, or dreaming something or creating something and then it just didn't go into fruition, your energy's still in it until you become, self-aware and accept that that's okay and you honor that part of the journey consciously.

And when you honor that part of the journey consciously, making it okay that that happened, that it didn't go into fruition, then, then the energy can come back to you from that. And that which you created or were participating in.

It releases from you and you don't carry that with you now. You don't carry it into the next year where you've had a half project that didn't happen.

You don't carry the memories of it either. And it could be a relationship. It could be anything you're doing. You were gonna go and sell your house and it didn't sell. You know, all these different things, it's all about what you put energy into. What you planned, what you put energy into and what didn't happen needs to be honored. Because otherwise it's gonna weigh you down for the next year.

A part of your consciousness is still in that, and waiting for it to happen, or disappointed it didn't happen, or feeling bad and you need to bring all that consciousness into your heart.

So basically, it's about a review of the year. Just to sit down and review your year is an important thing to do before Wesak, and just in that realization, you don't have to do all this grand energy work or anything.

It's about the simplicity of acknowledging it and seeing it in that year and going, and looking at it like an observer, a loving observer. *"Oh, well, we weren't able to do that. Oh, that's okay. you know, it went somewhere else, but my energy and consciousness was in that quite a bit. And, I'm gonna honor that now and see that as, as a good thing.”*

You have to be able to see it as a good thing to get the energy back from it. And that's your consciousness, otherwise it's still in the past.

So basically, this is the first thing about Wesak. This is the most grounded thing to begin with.

The second thing is you've been in a spiritual initiation of growth for the whole year, personal growth. It's really important for you to see yourself a year ago and see yourself now. And, you know, recognize that God/Source/Great Spirit is congratulating you for the growth you've made.

There’s something that's changed, to say to yourself, "Well, what has changed?"

Maybe I've become more compassionate. Maybe I'm becoming wiser.

Maybe there's things that haven't changed. Don't worry about them. It's not about looking at what hasn't changed. It's about what has changed and really, really recognizing you created that with your light, with your love, with your power. Nobody else did it for you. You did that. And that was your initiation.

Asking, "Is there something that I need to acknowledge, forgive, or love more to truly complete that initiation before Wesak?" Because Wesak is a time when you complete the initiation.

Whatever it was that you were growing, you're going to grow it to the whatever level within you by the time you get to the Wesak Full Moon. And then you're going to start growing another thing inside of yourself.

So, it's about honoring that whatever level you're at, and realizing that all that consciousness that was wrapped up in those past things, that you honored (when you do the self-review) is the energy and conscious you need to complete your initiation now.

There might be just one thing you need to realize about that growth that you haven't realized yet that will allow you to complete it.

Maybe you've been a bit hard on yourself through the whole year, and yet, you've been more compassionate with others. And maybe you've got that one thing to realize, "Oh, my God. I don't need to be hard on myself ever again. I don't need that."

“And I can see that I've been hard on myself.”

And maybe that's it for you. I'm giving you examples. Could be anything. But maybe you realize, "Oh, my God. I don't need to…." And it's a self-realization like that.

It's about, "Oh, my God. I don't need to do that anymore.", and it's a really big thing that you bring into your consciousness, and you make a decision. Yeah, that's, that's the end of that now because you really see it. You see it through the whole year how you've been. You've been really compassionate, doing these things or whatever you've been doing, or maybe it's more love, or maybe more wisdom, maybe more integrity. You've been really onto things a bit more, you know?

Whatever it is that you've been building in your initiation… you're going get that from your guidance inside.

It’s always important to ask directly. Go into your pillar of light before Wesak and ask, "What is it I've been building?" It's a quality of consciousness, like compassion, love, maybe it's forgiveness. Maybe it's integrity. You know? Whatever it is. Wisdom. It's a quality.

And your initiation is based on that quality.

You look back on yourself about it from where you were to where you are now, and you'll see the quality's grown.

But is there something else that's gone along at the same time? Have you been like that to yourself? Maybe you've been like that with others more. But have you been like that to yourself? To just see that it's balanced in your inner and outer world. Because the initiation is about being able to bring it out of you and also bring it through you for yourself and others.

And that's when it completes, when you can actually do both.

So it's about the acknowledgement of what's needed. Or maybe there's something that you need to forgive to be able to go, "Yes, I am a compassionate being to myself and others here and have I turned that compassion on myself enough?” That's an example.

So that's really the next element of preparation, is really about your initiation.

Also, at Wesak, you can receive, "What is it I'm going be growing or putting my service into?" because there's two forms of initiation.

There's the personal growth one, which is about consciousness. You developing another level of consciousness, a quality in yourself, and the second one is your service work.

This is another initiation of what you're giving your time and energy to.... mostly. Maybe you want to write a book. You know, maybe you're going to get guided from within that, "My service over the next Wesak year will be to create, start writing a book." Or, "Maybe I'm going to do prayers for the world...".

Whatever it is that you get inside, you're going receive the light for this during Wesak, so that you have enough light to actually do that beautiful thing that you're aiming towards that's new, or that you want to expand. You know, something you're becoming more involved in, and that's going to evolve you.

Whether it's prayers that you're going to become involved in more deeply, or whether it's going to be writing a book, or something else. Whatever it is, it, it's something that you're putting your energy consciousness into, and you need light for it.

That's your service, something that's of benefit. So that's pretty much the preparation of Wesak. And during Wesak, you can receive about your service.

You can ask while you're in the meditation, in the ceremony. You can ask about your growth of what the highest thing to grow for the next year is, and the consciousness, the new quality.

And you can truly receive the light and honor your past initiation, your past growth.

And, while you do it in that high frequency of light that's happening at the time of the Wesak Moon, it's the most powerful time, it just goes through your whole energy field, through every dimension of your being. Basically sets you up for the next year.

That's a little snippet on, on the importance of preparing and then entering the Wesak ceremony once a year.
